We like paper: colourful, patterned, frilly, recycled... presented...
So we're pretty pepped up by the prospect of the Pacific Peoples' Partnership partnering with the Pacific Arts Association for their 11th International Symposium on August 5th-8th 2013. It's on at the University of British Columbia, Museum of Anthropology, Vancouver, with the theme: "Pacific Intersections and cross-currents: uncharted histories and future trends."
If you're a contemporary artist, cultural leader, historian, museum and gallery curator, researcher, or collector, consider engaging in the lively and creative dialogues that explore these migratory spaces in a spirit of true enquiry.
Through thematic panels, paper presentations, insight presentations, and performances, space will be created for dynamic interaction between speakers, panelists, and audience members.
If you're interested in participating, proposals are open until 1st October 2012. (Your proposal should be under 150 words and attached to a bio of under 100 words.)
