Brass nesting

Today's activity is a great find from WhimseyBox, a Geo Brass Nesting Bowl.

You will need:
12" x 24" Brass Sheet (look for these at your local hardware store)
Sharpie (or non-permanent fine tip marker)
Ruler
Tin Snips
Paper Pattern (download here)

How to:
1. Print and cut out your three patterns then place on the brass sheets and trace around the edges with your sharpie.
2. Cut out the shapes using tin snips (cutters). It's a good idea to do some test cuts first to get a feel for it.
3. Once the shape is cut out, press down with your ruler and fold the petals up. Then arrange three petals together to complete the bowl.

Happy brassing.
