In a nutshell

How's your memory? We can't even remember the last time we played memory ...

For this activity you will need:

+ nutshells
+ coloured paper
+ pen, scissors, glue

How to:

1. Eat the nuts.
2. Place the empty shells down on your colourful paper and trace around them 2 times for each colour.
3. Cut out the paper and glue to the inside of the shell (making sure the colour cannot be seen when face-down).

Playing the game:

Put all the nutshells face down and mix them up.
Take turns turning over two shells at a time.
If the colours match, you keep the nutshells. If not, turn them over again and the next person plays.
Can you remember where all the colours are?
