Applications are now being accepted for the Pacific Islands Women in Leadership program (WIL). Up to 10 participants will be selected for the first cohort, which will take place at the East-West Center in Honolulu from 3 - 26 November, 2013.
The Pacific Islands Women in Leadership program (WIL) is designed to create a vibrant network of women leaders across the Pacific region who will learn from each other and provide mutual support as they seek to bring about positive changes in their island societies.
To be considered for the program, candidates should submit applications to the East-West Center by 8 July 2013 including:
+ A completed WIL application form available here
+ two letters of reference
+ your CV
+ your cover letter with a brief description of a project you would like to create or further develop which will serve to empower women in your community
Citizens of the Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu are eligible to apply.
