Pacific Pencil this week revealed its new Stella magazine app, alongside the launch of a brand new look for its trailblazing magazine.
The new Stella magazine app fully reinforces the innovation of the brand’s vision to celebrate Pacific Islander role-models and challenge stereotypes in mainstream media. The app is free and available on iPad and iPhone from the App Store and on Android from GooglePlay (download at the links below).
After three years of publishing a 72-page bi-monthly, publisher Pacific Pencil has developed Stella into a quarterly 120-page magazine.
Stella magazine editor, Amanda Donigi said the market data on a digital readership is limited to non-existent.
“Nothing like this has been attempted in this market before, but neither had a fashion magazine like Stella three years ago.
“The risk has paid off and it’s time to take another risk. We are excited to see how audiences react and to push the limits in publishing and media.
“In addition to broadening our distribution and improving ongoing engagement within our community, our new app lets us maximize our content and provide our audience with engaging stories and inspiration from our part of the world.”
The new quarterly will cost K19.95 while the digital version subscriptions are $8.99 (one month), $16.99 (six months), and $33.99 (one year) with access to every issue during subscription via the Stella App. Subscriptions to the original quarterly magazine direct to your post office box are also available here.
Local businesses now have an unparalleled opportunity to reach a wide and influential market in the Pacific region. Advertising opportunities extend from the pages of the magazine to the 55,000+ social media followers, and imminent subscribers to the digital version of Stella magazine.
